டெல்லி: ஐஐடி-ஜேஇஇ தேர்வு எழுதிய மாணவர்களின் தற்கொலை நடப்பாண்டில் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. ராஜஸ்தான் மாநிலம் கோட்டா அருகிலுள்ள மகாவீர் நகரைச் சேர்ந்த 17 வயது மாணவர்கள் நேற்று தற்கொலைா செய்துகொண்டார். அந்த மாணவரின் பெயர் நிர்மல் யோகி. சவாய் மதோபர் மாவட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர் இவர்.

இவர் மகாவீர் நகரிலுள்ள பள்ளியில் 12-ம் வகுப்பு படித்து வந்தார். அதே நகரில் ஒரு வீடு வாடகைக்கு எடுத்துத் தங்கியிருந்தார். இந்த நிலையில் அவர் தனது வீட்டின் அறையில் டவலால் ஃபேனில் தூக்குப் போட்டுத் தற்கொலலை செய்துகொண்டார். போலீஸார் அந்த மாணவரின் சடலத்தைக் கைப்பற்றி பிரேதப் பரிசோதனைக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். இவர் கடந்த மாதம் ஐஐடி-ஜேஇஇ தேர்வு எழுதியிருந்தார். இதுதொடர்பாக விசாரணைக்கும் உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இதுபோன்ற ஐஐடி-ஜேஇஇ தேர்வு எழுதிய ஐஐடி-யில் சேர்வதற்கு முன்னதாகவே தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்ளும் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை இந்தாண்டு அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்த ஆண்டில் மட்டும் இதுவரை 10 மாணவர்கள் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டுள்ளனர். இதேபோல கடந்த மாதம் கூட ஒரு மாணவர்கள் இதே பகுதியில் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டார். அவர் ஒரு மாணவி ஆவர். ஐஐடி-ஜேஇஇ தேர்வில் வெற்றி பெற்ற நிலையில் அவர் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டார். இதுதொடர்பாக தீவிரமாக விசாரணை நடத்துமாறு ராஜஸ்தான் மாநில ஆளுநர் கல்யாண் சிங் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார். கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் மாணவர்களுக்கு கொடுத்து வரும் அழுத்தத்தால் அவர்கள் தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்கிறார்களா என்ற கோணத்தில் அந்த விசாரணை நடந்து வருகிறது.

A 17-year-old IIT aspirant, studying at a coaching institute here, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his rented room in Mahaveer Nagar area, the 10th such incident in the coaching hub this year. Nirmal Yogi, a Class XII student and a resident of Sawai Madhopur district, last night hanged himself from the fan using a towel, police said. The body was sent to a hospital for postmortem this morning, police said, adding no suicide note was found in the room. A probe has been launched in the matter to ascertain why he took the extreme step. Another student had last month ended her life despite having cracked the IIT-JEE mains. The girl had in a suicide note said she was not able to put up with the depression and stress that she had been experiencing while taking coaching and that the government should down coaching institutes. In the wake of increasing cases of suicides by students, Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh had recently said a body formed to regulate coaching institutes. “The body should also decide the admission procedure to these institutes and direct them to reduce the pressure on students,” he had said.
